We regret to tell you that we’ve made the difficult decision to close our stores. Performance Improvements Speed Shops Ltd. will be ceasing regular operations on September 30, 2022. We recognize that without the support and loyalty of our customers we could never have held out this long. We want to thank you for your patronage over the past 58 years.


When is Performance Improvements Closing?

Our “Going Out Of Business Sale!” is on now until September 30!

Sale is on now with discounts ranging from 5 -25% and increasing weekly. Regular operations will cease on September 30, 2022. At that time we will close all stores.  Anything purchased before September 4th can be returned under the rules in place at the time of purchase. AFTER September 4th, all sales are final and no returns will be accepted.  


Where is Performance Improvements Closing?

All locations: Toronto, Barrie & Hamilton, plus the website, will close on September 30, 2022. Any remaining inventory and fixtures will be liquidated in Toronto sometime in Mid October.


What about my existing order?

If you have an outstanding order that we are able to fill, rest assured you will receive your merchandise. We’ll make sure that orders already in progress will be fulfilled as fast as possible. 


In some situations, orders may need to be canceled and full refunds will be provided.  We will reach out to all customers whose orders cannot be completed to arrange for full refunds.

Returns for items purchased before September 4th must be received before September 30, 2022. Warranty claims for items purchased before September 4th will have to be handled directly with the manufacturer after September 30, 2022. AFTER September 4th, all sales are final and no returns will be accepted.

Is the Website pricing & availability updated?

The sale pricing on our website is the current sale price.

 

Be sure to click on "Availability" "In Stock" to show the most up-to-date inventory.

We are revising our inventory multiple times a day, but with several locations selling all at once, we may occasionally sell an item that has already been sold somewhere else.

If that happens we will contact you before charging your credit card. Shop early for best selection!


What happens to everything left over?

Liquidation Sale Mid-October 2022

While everything must go, performance auto parts and fixtures included, we will not begin liquidating the fixtures, signage, etc. until AFTER the Clearance Sale. If we do not sell all our product before September 30, 2022, we will consolidate what remains from our other two stores and have a liquidation sale of the remaining products and fixtures, signage, etc. probably some time in mid-October.


What is the new Return Policy?

RETURN POLICY: UPDATE

UPDATE September 4, 2022: All purchases made after September 3, 2022, during our Clearance Sale are "FINAL SALE - No returns, refunds or exchanges.

You can return most new and unused items purchased before September 4th in their original undamaged packaging before September 30, 2022. Warranty claims made after September 30, 2022 will have to be handled directly with the manufacturer.
