Once I decide to EfI my 68 Shelby it was no turning back. My main reasons were the reliability, starting problems, and getting rid of vapor locking. Well I was never more happy after the install! The car loved it as performance picked up most noticeably!! The car ran more smoothly and was more powerful! The Shelby started every time. No more embarrassing moments sitting in a lot trying to start it. I would highly recommend the Holley Snioer EFI!!
I was looking into changing the fuel delivery system on my 68' Shelby. A friend planted the seed in my head about doing an EFI system. So exploring different Canadian Speed shops, I came upon Performance Improvement Speed Shop. It was the day before Victoria Day and I had inquired about special prices. Lo and behold they emailed me back about the Victoria Day Special. This was a such a personal touch, emailing me back so promptly, that it convinced me to purchase the Holley Sniper EFI from the family owned business. it not finish to install ., im sure it a great product , i have learn a lot about holley and i know it the best efi kit to order for youre muscle car ., more review to come ., and the service delivery and quality 5 star ., thank you ., from jean-pierre near montreal , quebec , canada .
Installation vehicle engine is a Chev 454 bored out 30 thousands, cam specs are street / strip race oriented , original carb was 850 cfm, engine dyno sheet at 525 hp, vehicle ran 1/4 mile @ consistant 11.52 sec , 112 mph. After install , engine will start but runs eratic, these are the issues : - engine will not idle down below 1150 rpm - engine overheating , presume Holly Sniper operating engine too lean on fuel - noticed engine knock and peen during heavy acceleration - tried various tunes , unable to make any differences. - track times dropped to 12.20 sec @ 98 mph Removed Holly Sniper reinstalled carb to avoid engine damage Discussions with some other people have indicated similar issues and problems with no solutions. Purchase may have been a waste of money .

Yes, overall good. Customer setvice was great. Shipping was really fast. I had to print some instructions which indicated that a refetence manual was included in the kit. Unfortunately no documentation was included. Another suggestion (this was my own fault but could have been averted) i didn't realize i needed an adaptor to mount the TB on my stock intake manifold (chevy spreadbore) Perhaps a question about spplication could be added. If i did it agsin, i would order the additional fuel kit.
